RMA Number Request Policy

RMA Number Request:

  • this web site: fill out the Get-A-Quote form with "RMA Number Request" in the "Description" section of the form.

Information to include in all correspondence:

  1. Include your personal data (Name, full address, telephone, email address, etc).
  2. Indicate the model(type) and serial number, as well as date of purchase (if known).
  3. Give a complete fault description, preferably in English.
  4. Select the procedure of your choice (Return for Repair, Return for Exchange).

By accepting and using the RMA Number provided by Datacom Repair or it's agents (sales contact), the user confirms to understand and accept the terms and conditions as described in the Policies and Procedures.

Return Authorization:
After receipt of the RMA Number request by Datacom Repair, a confirmation and authorization message will be communicated within 24 hours.

This document will contain:

  1. A RMA number (which is your reference number).
  2. Your personal data (please check them carefully for any mistakes).
  3. The equipments data (please check them carefully for any mistakes).
  4. The problem description (may be summarized).
  5. The address where the product should be sent.

Shipment:
After verification of the authorization messages contents, arrange a pickup of the returning equipment.

  1. The returning material must be securely packaged (original packing is preferred). Attachments should be included where necessary (cables, screws, floppy's, manuals, etc.).
  2. Print out pre-formatted Packing Slip in Excel format. If you do not use Excel then use this Packing Slip. Write your "RMA Number" on the slip clearly and legibly.
  3. The RMA Number must be clearly marked on the outside of the box.
  4. Please make sure and ship equipment with the proper insurance levels in place. Datacom Repair is not liable for equipment damaged by the shipping companies.

Service:
After receipt of the returning material, Datacom Repair will service the product as indicated on the original RMA request, and return it within the shortest time possible.
